Project D.R.E.A.M. INSTRUCTORS
Current Instructors Officer Frank Piscitelli Officer Frank Piscitelli has been a full-time officer with the Millbury Police Department for 7 1/2 year. He also has prior law enforcement experience as a Police Dispatcher/Special Police Officer with the Sutton Police Department for a period of three years. Officer Piscitelli is responsible for adminstration of the Project D.R.E.A.M. program, including instruction of the DARE core curriculum to students in the 6th grade, and instruction and presenations of safety/risk related topics to other grade levels and groups within the community Officer Piscitelli is a graduate of Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School (1996). He holds an Associates Degree in Advanced Automotive Technology from New England Institute of Technology (1998); a Bachelors Degree Criminal Justice from Westfied State College (2005); Officer Piscitelli is currently working on a graduate thesis for a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice at Anna Maria College and is attending law school at the Massachusetts School of Law in Andover. Police related training and certifications include, but are not limited to: graduating the Reading Police Academy - 9th MPOC in 2003, completing the two-week (80 hour) DARE Officer Training program held at the Morris County (NJ) Police Academy in 2005, and a 40-hour grantwriting course at The Grantsmanship Center in Los Angeles, CA in 2006. He has successfully completed certificate courses on other important topics ranging from education/teaching to management to leadership. The training includes: bullying and cuberbullying, investigating the internet child predator, internet crimes, leadership and followership, police mountain bike training, sexual assault investigations, and other various topics. Overall, he brings a practical, technical, and theoretical background into the classroom as the Project D.R.E.A.M./DARE Officer. Retired Instructors Sergeant Stephen Webb (Ret.) Sergeant Stephen J. Webb served the Millbury Police Department from 1980 through 2008 and was the town's first DARE Officer. He instructed the department's D.A.R.E. program since its inception in 1993, overseeing all aspects of the program from adminstration to classroom instruction. During his time as a DARE Officer, he oversaw the transition to the current Project D.R.E.A.M. program in 2004 and also served as the School Resource Officer (SRO) during the 2005 school year. Sergeant Webb is a graduate of Anna Maria College and Western New England College with a Masters degree in Criminal Justice.
