Silent Witness and Anonymous Reporting Page

This section of the Millbury Police Department web site is designed to be a resource and method for concerned citizens to report crime or suspicious activity. Information can be submitted anonymously or by leaving your contact information for an officer to contact you. In either case your information will be kept CONFIDENTIAL.

Before continuing to the reporting form, carefully please read the information below:

Please be advised, this page is designed to be a tool for reporting new crimes and information. If this is a matter of an important nature or an ongoing emergency please dial 911. This web site and reporting method is not monitored continuously!

We encourage a variety of information to be reported; however, issues that are civil in nature (ie: probate, divorce, child custody, land, tenant/landlord) should be addressed with appropriate personnel such as an attorney. Also, animal nuisance, such as barking dogs, issues are the jurisdiction of the Animal Control Officer, please click on the animal control page for more information.

Prior to entering information in the fields below, it is important to keep in mind that as police officers we are held to strict and important standards of law regarding anonymous reports. Therefore, it is critical that if you are going to provide information, it must be entered as accurate, complete, and detailed as possible.

Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 269 Section 13A stipulates that whoever intentionally and knowingly makes or causes to be made a false report of a crime to police officers shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred nor more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in a jail or house of correction for not more than one year, or both.

Thank-you for your co-operation!
